Reporting to the Groups Subsea Operations Manager you will be ultimately responsible for the Health and Safety management systems and supporting process to enable an "end to end" service delivery to the entire subsea asset group. Health and Safety is a major aspect of the companies management systems.
Objectives
To provide the Subsea Group with the following services;
- Maintenance, assurance and monitoring of the HSE Management system.
- Maintenance, assurance, monitoring and evaluation of compliance of HS Contractor Management systems.
- Delivery and recording of Golden Safety Rules to the Group and Contractor personnel.
- Development and delivery of HSE.
- Management and Improvement Plans.
- Provide Risk identification, evaluation and mitigation support.
- Incident investigation and reporting support.
- Induction support
Key Accountabilities

Application of the Functions HSEQ management system in accordance with Corporate expectation and aspiration.
- Input to the Functions monthly HSE report.
- Risk identification, assessment and mitigation support.
- Incident investigation and reporting process management support.
- HSE Induction and Golden Safety Rules presentation support.
- Regulatory and Corporate compliance assurance support.
- Provide Health and Safety support for Operations Superintendent and Subsea Project Leads.
Qualifications and Training
- Strong work ethic is essential.
- Formal HS tertiary qualifications (Cert IV minimum).
- Confidentiality awareness and compliance is essential.
- 5-8 years Health and Safety, technical and administrative support within a similar industry.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
- Strong leadership, influencing and organizational ability.
- Ability to prioritise to meet deadlines.
- Self-Motivated and enthusiastic.
The Subsea Function is a small dynamic team, which must respond effectively to emergency situations as and when they occur.
