We have a great opportunity for you to advance your HSE career within our reputed global Offshore Oil & Gas services company entering an exciting phase of growth.
The role offers you a variety of challenges and presents you with an opportunity to learn and grow with the Company.
Based in Perth City and reporting to the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for providing HSE support, leadership and guidance to Company Operations and Projects.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Actively support and promote the Company's HSE Management System, with the vision of continuous improvement;
- Preparation and provision of HSE Management plans;
- Development and revision of Safety Cases (mobile facilities);
- Development and implementation of effective HSE monitoring;
- Advise and support line management in the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, practices and standards;
- Ensure the Company's Hazard and Risk Management practices and processes are implemented;
- Liaise with Client and government regulatory bodies.
Ideally you will have a recognised qualification in the HSE field with a minimum of 5 years experience within the oil and gas industry. You will have first hand experience in the application and implementation of the Australian Offshore Petroleum legislation and particularly the development and implementation of Safety Cases (mobile facilities).
Key to the role is the competent understanding of Offshore Petroleum Construction projects including diving, ROV's, hazards and risk management processes within the industry.
There will be a requirement to travel within the Asia Pacific region, including visits to onshore and offshore operations (vessels/platforms) for the purposes of training, inspections and audits.
